Inside the Writers’ Room - a Behind the Scenes Experience at the Brave New Workshop

Looking for a truly unique, hands-on experience for your next group activity? We’re now offering an amazing chance to peek behind the scenes and try sketch comedy creation for yourself!

We call it “Inside the Writer’s Room.” This 90 minute participatory experience goes way beyond the traditional backstage tour! You’ll get to practice our fun and engaging tricks of the trade, like improv and brainstorming. Actual Brave New Workshop mainstage performers will help you learn to silence your inner critic and rediscover your own creativity – with lots of laughs along the way.

The bar will be open for your patronage, and doors open at 4:30p, so you can get a drink, get settled, and start the event promptly at 4:45p.

It’s also available by appointment for private events, it’s perfect for social groups, clubs, students, tour groups, and celebrations… so what are you waiting for?

“Inside the Writers’ Room” is fun, engaging, hands-on, and a great way to get your group involved in an unforgettable experience.

It’s perfect for fans of comedy, students of the creative process- really just about anybody. It’s a great alternative for groups for whom our mainstage sketch comedy shows aren’t a good fit. Or, combine it with show tickets for a full-on, Brave New Workshop comedy immersion!

PRICING & AVAILABILITY

Pricing and Availability

Available by appointment, year round: Sun-Wed 9am-9pm; Thurs-Sat 9am-6pm. (Schedule may vary in December due to expanded holiday performances.) The program is 2 hours long, with breaks.

$60 per person.
Groups, students, seniors (65+): $40 per person.
Minimum of 12 participants required for this activity. Maximum of 40.
