Brave New Workshop Presents ASL-Interpreted Performance of "I Saw Daddy Marry Santa Claus"
Minneapolis, MN -- The Brave New Workshop Theatre (BNW) is excited to announce that they will be welcoming deaf and hard-of-hearing patrons to enjoy a performance of their hit holiday show "I Saw Daddy Marry Santa Claus" with the help of professional ASL interpreters (Tarra Grammenos, plus Carlos Grant as a second interpreter). This ASL-interpreted show will be on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 5pm and will take place at the Brave New Workshop Theatre main stage at 824 Hennepin Ave in downtown Minneapolis.
Hot on the heels of BNW's 2012 smash holiday hit, "Fifty Shades of White: A Minnesota XXXmas," this year's holiday show sets its satirical sights on some of the year's hottest topics, including Minnesota's entry into the gay marriage conversation, as well as our own holiday traditions and social issues.
"I Saw Daddy Marry Santa Claus" continues the BNW's 55 year tradition of having the funniest holiday show in town with songs, sketches and general merry-making that will make your spirits brighter than some Minnesotans consider appropriate. Plus, audiences will see the return of the BNW's most renowned and requested holiday sketch, "The 12 Days of Christmas."
