The Brave New Workshop Comedy Theatre is seeking motivated, enthusiastic part-time employees to facilitate the highest of customer service in duties varying from ticket sales, ushering, and some cocktailing duties. Qualified candidates must exemplify the highest standards of customer service that a comedy landmark such as the Brave New Workshop has come to be known for over the past 50 years.
Primary Job Duties
· Answer incoming customer calls; sell tickets and process orders.
· Process phone and walk-up orders for gift certificates, punch passes, and merchandise.
· Greet and direct all visitors.
· Assist with set-up for daytime events in the theater and our ETC event/meeting venue as needed.
· Maintain a positive atmosphere and orderly work environment.
· Work as a team with other employees to create a great customer experience from the first .moment our visitors enter the building and throughout their stay.
Job Requirements
· A proven track record of excellent customer service and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of customers, clients, and co-workers.
· Ability to give excellent customer experience to large sized audiences.
· Ability to present a polite, professional, and upbeat demeanor both in person and over the phone.
· Available to work nights and weekend (daytime availability is also recommended).
· Must be at least 18 years of age.
· Previous theater experience a plus
Payrate: $8.24 per hour
