Lauren Anderson

ABOUT LAUREN:

I am currently a member of Five Man Job, Brave New Workshop, Foterson, Show X, Dogwalk, 123 Improv, Creature Feature.  I've been to the Chicago Improv Festival (2x), Atlanta Improv Festival, Los Angeles Improv Festival, and Twin Cities Improv Festival (4x). I also help produce Improv A Go Go and TCIF.



Joe Bozic

ABOUT JOE:

In May, 2001, I moved to Minneapolis and started playing with both Fingergun and Ferrari McSpeedy, two groups that are still going strong in the Twin Cities improv scene.  I've been a main stage company member of the Brave New Workshop since 2005 and the co-director of the Brave New Workshop Student Union since 2010.



Chris Campo

ABOUT CHRIS:

I studied improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in NYC and The Brave New Institute and theater at Queens College CUNY. I was on several Six Ring Circus teams, and I have performed at Improv A Go Go, Sample Night Live, The Beat Coffee House, and on the BNW stage as an understudy.



Mike Fotis

ABOUT MIKE:

I did my training at the BNW and since 2003 have performed in billions of after show improv sets. I've also gained invaluable experience working with Ferrari McSpeedy and Fingergun, two local improv groups.  In fall of 2009, I became the Co-Director of the Brave New Institute.



Bobby Gardner

ABOUT BOBBY:

I am currently in the BNW mainstage cast. I also perform and was co-founder of Beatbox Minneapolis. I perform every October in Creature Feature produced by HUGE. Other groups I'm involved with are Sugar Sunday, The Poopanauts, Penalty Box, and Sabado Gigante!



Peter Guertin

ABOUT PETER:

I started with Dudley Riggs Brave New Workshop in 1989, 60 comedy revues later I am still tickling the ivories for the BNW. I've been playing improvisational piano since 1973 when I was in a junior high school improv company. My first improvisation teacher was named Ert Jones Hermerding



Damian Johnson

ABOUT DAMIAN:

I've performed with Comedy Sportz, BoyTron (Survivors of the Undead Plague, The Adventures of Tim, Troy & Damian), The Quest, Tarantino... and 15 other tiny side projects that I only do when one gets into Improv-A-Go-Go. BoyTron has performed at the Twin Cities Improv Festival and The Toronto International Improv Festival.



Dave Kappelhoff

ABOUT DAVE:

I currently improvise with Emily Schmidt on our two person team called Deutschland. Finalists in the 2010 ComedySportz duo tournament, coaching at Six Ring Circus. Have coached multiple amazing teams since 1999 until present, teaching both Everyday and Performance class levels at the Brave New Institute.



Caleb McEwen

ABOUT CALEB:

I am a writer, keynote speaker, trainer, master of ceremonies, knife thrower, juggler and dancer. Yes, I did say knife thrower.  Since joining the Brave New Workshop, I have written, directed, produced, and performed in more events than any other Brave New Workshop performer.



Tom Reed

ABOUT TOM:

I regularly perform improv with Comedy Sportz and Stevie Rays and with several independent long form groups including Rampleseed, Lounge-asaurus Rex, and Ringo. I have performed in the Twin Cities Improv Festival each year since 2008 and the Out Of Bounds Comedy Festival (Austin, TX) in 2009 and 2010.



Jen Scott

ABOUT JEN:

My Six Ring team was called Q, and my first improv troupe was called Unitard (we performed at the first Improv A Go Go, which happened at the Palace Theater in St. Paul). Since then, I've been a part of a number of groups: Adorable, Happy Indecisive, Vaudeville with a Pig, Socially Awkward, Hellendrung, Scott & Associates and others.



Jake Scott

ABOUT JAKE:

I started performing improv in the Twin Cities in 2006. I've since appeared in a number of shows, including Creature Feature, Overheard in Minneapolis, and Star Trek: The Next Improvisation. I regularly perform with my improv duo, Interplanetary Appeal. My favorite things to teach at the BNW are Everyday Improv and Pizza Jams.


Aric McKeown

ABOUT ARIC:


I have performed as part of the Mustache Rangers and Corduroy Rogers, and in festivals in Minneapolis, Chicago, and Philadelphia.
