FIND FUN AT OUR HILARIOUS SUMMER CAMPS
Fun is not allowed to take a summer break. That’s why we host weekly summer camps for youth ages 9-12 and teens ages 13-18. We are excited to announce some fresh offerings for Summer 2019! Highlights include half-day and full-day options, Sketch Writing Camps for both youth and teens, as well as a two-week Teen Sketch Production Intensive. No prior experience is necessary for any of our camps. All camps will start with an introduction to basic improvisation tools and games in a playful and supportive environment. Then each week’s focus will add in more complex games, playtime with scene partners, inventing memorable characters, and (of course) spontaneous fits of laughter. In the spirit of the BNW and our long history as the nation’s longest running comedy theatre, we are thrilled to offer these returning camp favorites and jump in to exciting new offerings. And there are added benefits for camp participants, too — like greater confidence and improved social and collaboration skills (somewhat comparable to hiding veggie purees in your favorite lasagna recipe).
