All BNW SU programs are funded by a combination of class fees and generous donations. We strive to remove barriers for students who have a true desire to learn the life changing tools of improv. We do this by offering creative funding solutions, internships and scholarships.
Our scholarship program is intended to support those individuals or families who would not be able to attend our classes and camps without financial support. Award is based upon need and the completion of an application, as well as availability of funds. When possible, we do ask scholarship recipients to pay at least a portion of their tuition. We will consider trade for services as partial tuition in special circumstances. We are grateful to the generous individuals and organizations who donate to our Peggy McCalla Improv for Good fund so that we can make this support available. To inquire about scholarships and receive an application, please contact us at bnwsu@bravenewworkshop.com. If you are an organization looking to partner for an Improv for Good initiative, please contact Jenni at jenni@bravenewworkshop.com.
The BNW SU periodically offers internship opportunities to individuals who can share a special skill or would like to support the growth of the BNW Student Union. Some internships may be arranged for a partial break in tuition, while others choose to volunteer or use the internship for career development. While we typically do not approve internships for students just beginning our program (we like to get to know you first), we welcome innovative, win-win solutions. To inquire about internships, please contact bnwsu@bravenewworkshop.com .
