Sketch 101

The BNW Student Union's Sketch Writing program starts with Sketch 101.  You'll start with just an idea and, over the course of six weeks, turn those ideas into sketches! You'll learn the art of editing your sketches, find tips and tricks to sharpening your voice, and clap. You'll clap a lot. There's a ton of clapping in this class. You don't need to have any prior writing or acting experience to have a blast learning how to write sketch comedy!

Sketch Lab
Sketch 101 is now followed by Sketch Lab!   Sketch Lab will build off Sketch Writing 101 by giving you the opportunity to explore different types and styles of sketches. From commercials to songs to sketches ripped straight from the headlines, you'll have a chance to stretch your skills as a writer. (Prerequisite: Sketch 101)
