MEET THE CAST...PROGRAM BIOS
"MARTHA STEWART: PRISON VIXEN or, It's a Good Thing"

CALEB MCEWEN
director/writer/actor
Caleb has appeared in a ridiculous number of BNW mainstage shows. He has appeared in a ridiculous number of roles in the BNW production of Flanagan's Wake. He has directed a ridiculous number of BNW shows. He has also appeared in a ridiculous number of shows at other theatres, performing these shows in a ridiculous number of cities, states, countries and continents. He has written a ridiculous number of BNW program bios. The bio part is the only thing he is tired of doing.

Caleb wishes to quote LL Cool J: "Don't call it a comeback, I been here for years!"

Caleb is thrilled to be performing with Matt again. Thanks to Matt for making the insanity worthwhile.

Caleb also wishes to thank his family for their love and support. Above all, he wishes to thank his wife Katy for things too ridiculous in number to print. I love you, Katy, and I never would have survived
this long without you.

BUTCH ROY
technical direction
Butch has been the Technical Director at the Brave New Workshop since 1998 and has opened more than a dozen BNW shows from Got Apathy to When Xtreme Things Happen to Boring People. Butch has since returned to school in pursuit of a degree and a lot of debt. He has begun teaching improvisation at the Brave New Institute, opened the Improv a Go-Go and taken his improv group, Five Man Job, on tour across the Midwest. Butch is excited to be returning to the small dark box in the back of the theatre to work with the staggering talents of Matt, Caleb & Peter and still can't believe he gets paid to do anything this fun. Butch would like to thank Katharine, Anthony, John and Jenni for everything he's lucky enough to be able to do.

MATT CRAIG
writer/actor
Matt is very excited to be returning to the Twin Cities and the Brave New Workshop. Matt spent the last two years performing with the Second City National Touring Company, which permitted him to act like a clown all over the world. Highlights included The Piccolo Spoleto Theater Festival in Charleston, South Carolina; a five city USO tour in Alaska, and a three week run in Vienna, Austria. This is Matt's sixth revue at the Brave New Workshop. Some prior productions include Got Apathy, Prozac: It's What's for Dinner, and Dull Man Running. Matt wants to thank all of his supportive friends, everyone associated with the groups Tobacco Lobby, the GOC, The Second City, especially MightyMightyBlueCo, and the BNW for bringing him back. Special thanks to Chris, for welcoming him into his garage, and Caleb, who made the daunting task of a two-man show more fun than fear, and, finally, Matt wishes to express his undying gratitude and love to his family (his sun) and
to Gillian (his moon).

PETER GUERTIN
music director
This is Pete's 33rd show with the fine people of the Brave New Workshop, with show credits dating all the way back to 1989! Peter has written, performed, and directed the music for many shows in the Twin Cities including Mystery Cafe and Tony -n- Tina's Wedding. Peter was keyboard player for local R&B cat, Mick Sterling. Peter has also written, arranged and conducted music for many film and industrial videos and was the driving force behind BNW's first ever CD, Songs of the Brave New Workshop. As always, he dedicates the show you are seeing to NuNu, Punky, and the King of Toot's.
