Summer: It's Not the Heat, It's the Stupidity! or Why Can't We All Just
Get a Thong? pays tribute to the other Minnesota season...a
time when all Minnesotans are freed from the shackle of winter and Scandinavians
actually drop the stoicism to smile. The cast celebrates the summer
season with sketches like Trash to Treasure in which yeard sale shopping
becomes true art, and Campfire Stories that depict the tales of horror
made twice as scary because they involve your own camp counselor, and
I-90 Jazz, a surrelistic tribute to the most boring highway in America.
Cast members include George Keller, Bryan
Schmeling, Tim Uren, Levi Weinhagen, and Laura Zabel.
The show plays through
August 18...click here to check out show times.

Flanagan's Wake
is the hilarious audience-interactive Irish wake that has been playing
to sold out houses in Chicago for the past six years under the production
of the Noble Fool Theatre Company. The show is part scripted and part
improvised and full of "Irish Brogue and Blarney!" The comedy takes
place in the beautiful fictional town of Grapplin, County Sligo, Ireland
and features an eclectic cast of characters. From the moment the audience
arrives, they are at an "Irish Wake." The cast of characters greet audience
members as 'American cousins' and long-lost friends. All help recall
pertinent details of Flanagan's life (including the way he died -- which
is improvised differently every show based upon suggestions gathered
from the audience) and honor his memory by sharing stories and singing
songs about the man himself. Audience members might even find themselves
making a claim for the Flanagan land! The show is full of Irish tales,
music and even an Irish meal! Flanagan's Wake is NOW
OPEN in our new home in the Saint Paul Palace Theatre at 17 West Seventh
Place.
TICKETS are now on sale, and GROUP RESERVATIONS are now being taken
for this show.
TIMES & PRICES: (all shows are 'dinner shows' and include dinner,
unless otherwise noted):

in our beautiful new home!
The Saint Paul Palace Theatre is located on the one-block pedestrian

Lusardi, with current direction by Phil Lusardi and John Sweeney.
