The
Brave New Institute improv
classrooms at 2605 are some of the
busiest on the planet, with more
than 260 improv students each
week. A third classroom will be
added this winter.

There
are many legendary stories
about how and when
the "lion's head" made its
way to the Brave New
Workshop lobby at 2605.
The historic lobby at 2605 Hennepin incorporates
several circus-themed design elements, honoring Dudley Riggs' early
years as a circus aerialist.

Some of
the original risers and
historic chairs continue to
give 2605 its charm. The risers
were built to last, by 1960's alumna Michael Gellman, who went on
to work for The Second City in
Chicago and Detroit as a
teacher and director.
