RAVES AND RANTS
in your face and out your pants
"What
a hilarious and biting piece! Caleb and Matt were Fa-Bu-Lous! I've
been recommending it to everyone I know. But somehow when I try
to reenact the "Is Satire Dead?" bit for friends and family,
SOMETHING gets lost in translation...I think its my lack of that
incredible timing that Caleb possesses!" Therese, March 15th
"Just want to say thanks. Nothing beats laughter for forgetting
your problems - and it was a riot. I'll spread the word!" -
Steve, March 14th
"The
show was hilarious. Irreverent, slightly sadistic and surprisingly
up to date with current issues -- Bush reading W. the bedtime story...genius.
I laughed my ass off, as I always do at BNW. But...PLEASE, no more
white people rapping! I mean white people rapping was funny when.er
wait...it was never funny. The show was too brilliant to waste time
with rhyming Midwesterners. Everything else I was amazed by, honestly.
I look forward to the next BNW show." - Benjamin, March 12th
"Prison
Vixen was the 4th show I've seen in 2 years...and the first
with a 2 person cast. Simply put, in all four shows together, no
more than 10 seconds have gone by without a hearty laugh coming
from my belly. Caleb is too funny not to see on stage." -Keith,
March 5th
"It
was one of the best comedy plays I've ever been to. Watch out, the
FBI are gonna think you guys are terrorist the way you talk about
ol' GW." - Matt, March 4th
"Excellent
show! Very tasteless bit on the fire that killed 97 people."
- Jeff, March 3rd
"Caleb
and Matt put on one of the best shows you've ever done. I've seen
Martha Stewart Prison Vixen twice now, and would go again. Caleb
and Matt have great chemistry and incredible material - I was mildly
offended at least three times, but my cheeks hurt from laughing
and it wouldn't be funny if it weren't so true! Your irreverence
is refreshing, thanks for the experience!" -Mike, Feb. 26
"Martha
Stewart is my favorite BNW show so far - that opening bit with them
in the car just FLIES! Matt and Caleb are incredibly talented."
- Cindy from Andover
"I
loves that the whole show is about entitlement...and there were
people there on opening night who got (free) food and (free) tickets
and they were STILL crabby about this, that or the other-they didn't
like the (free) cookies, or their (free) seat was too far back...I
just got the giggles watching a few people throw their self-entitled
tantrums at a show that totally poked fun at that whole attitude!"
- Mary Ann, Minneapolis (opening night)
