THE
BRAVE NEW WORKSHOP'S
ANNUAL HOLIDAY EXTRAVAGANZA!
Break out the Nog and Lutefisk...
The Brave New Workshop Comedy Theatre Presents:
MY
BIG
FAT
LUTHERAN
CHRISTMAS
Minneapolis,
Minn, October 30, 2002.--- The Brave New Workshop (BNW) Comedy Theatre,
founded by Dudley Riggs in 1958, is proud to proclaim our 241st comedy
revue and annual holiday show, My Big Fat Lutheran Christmas.
The show previews November 21-23, opens November 27, and closes January
5, 2003.
My Big Fat Lutheran Christmas will unleash a blizzard of hilarious
holiday hijinks from mistletoe mischief to Minnesota mothers. This
fast-paced musical and sketch comedy will bundle brand new scenes
from Christmas present to the most popular sketches from Christmas
past, including a return of "The Shrieking Mothers' Chorus" and their
rendition of "The Twelve Days of Christmas." My Big Fat Lutheran
Christmas promises to be the home-cooked comedy that splashes
Tabasco in your cream of mushroom casserole this holiday season.
My Big Fat Lutheran Christmas will be created and performed
by the very merry, and only partially Lutheran, team of Shanan Wexler,
Katy McEwen, Julie Grover, Jim Robinson, and "Fingergun" recruits
James Lotter and Mike Fotis. Caleb McEwen is directing and Peter Guertin
will lead the carols. Andy Brynildson will be in charge of tech and
decor.
Showtimes for My Big Fat Lutheran Christmas: Wednesdays,
Thursdays, and Fridays at 8 pm, Saturdays at 7:30 and 10 pm, and Sundays
at 7 pm. Additional performances on Monday, December 23 at 8 pm, Monday,
