Down In History Tours and Flanagan's Wake Partner to
Bring You a Great Day of Irish Events

SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA, February 28, 2002--- Flanagan's Wake, brought to you by the Brave New Workshop Comedy Theatre (BNW), and Down In History Tours team up to offer the unique "Irish Wake and Wander " tour and dinner theatre. Participants will enjoy a No Blarney Tour of historic Irish sites in St. Paul with a delightful Irish character and the smash hit dinner theatre comedy Flanagan's Wake at a special package price. Beginning March 15, 2002, "Irish Wake and Wander" will premiere just in time for St. Patrick's Day and continue throughout the year on various days and times.

Highlighting the beautiful Catholic churches, the grand architecture of the University of St. Thomas, The Union Depot, and St. Paul's spectacular city hall, the tour hopes to answer popular questions like are the streets of St. Paul really laid out by drunken Irishmen? After the No Blarney Tour, the motor coach will drop these lucky souls off at the historic Palace Theatre in downtown St. Paul, where they will delight their taste buds with corned beef and cabbage, potatoes, and a pint or two of Guinness in an authentic Irish pub. Topping off the Irish-themed day will be a performance of the hilarious audience-interactive Flanagan's Wake, a show that has been deemed, "a great time" (NBC-TV) and "a riotous guffaw" (Star Tribune).

"Flanagan's Wake and the No Blarney Tour are both excellent St. Patrick's Day events, so it only made sense to offer a discount package for folks who want to enjoy both. We're really happy to be teamed up with Down In History Tours on this," said Erin Farmer, Director of Group Sales at the Brave New Workshop.

As Deborah Frethem, Down In History Tours, so eloquently put it, "this combination has it all - fun and facts, frivolity and a funeral. Who could ask for more?"
