Guided by master facilitators of the renowned Brave New Workshop, each two-hour session helps you discover ways to become more present, joyful and confident so that you can get more done and create the life and impact you want to have. We’re here to inspire, support and champion your desire to find your voice, move out of your comfort zone and connect with your happiest, best self.
What happens at Brave Tuesdays?
Each week you’ll join your group of supportive peers in a playful workout of the mind, body and soul. We’ll practice being in a mindset of discovery: shifting your energy and attention from stress, fear or distraction to positive forward – movement, creativity, resourcefulness and human connection.
You will flex your creativity, communication, and collaboration muscles through group and individual exercises, all in an inspiring environment of undeniable support. Your weekly practice will make you a better problem solver, influencer, leader and human.
We’ll share key concepts to maintaining your creative growth, learn about how our brains, bodies and intuition work together in powerful ways, and practice tools and skills to help you overcome the resistance, fears and patterns that get in the way of being our best selves. And it’s the Brave New Workshop, so you’re guaranteed to have fun and meet lifelong friends along the way.
I know my listening skills have improved as well as my ability to just jump in and speak off the cuff. I feel as though I spend less time pre-planning and more time just jumping in.Joanna

I know Brave New Workshop is also a comedy theater. Do I have to be funny to take part?
No! Brave Tuesdays is not about comedy or being funny. It’s about spending time in a safe, fun environment and flexing your creative muscles with a group of like-minded brave learners. While many of the exercises we use are founded in our study of improvisation, we also utilize other time-tested tools and practices to ensure everyone feels confident to bring their authentic selves to the room.
Will I have to perform on stage?
No! All sessions are active and interactive and group oriented, but you will not be asked to perform in front of an audience and there is no stage in the room! We never put you on the spot and everyone jumps in at the pace that works for them.
What happens in a typical session?
Each week will include a combination of group discussion, on-your-feet exercises, personal reflection and tons of laughter and inspiration. Our facilitators are experts at creating the safe space needed for you to play and take risks.
Are you sure this is for me? This frankly makes me nervous.
It’s completely normal and human to be nervous anytime you put yourself out there and try something new. That’s just your brain protecting you. It’s also completely human to want to stretch, create and have fun. We’re here to support that. In fact, we believe everyone is creative and for 60+ years we’ve been creating experiences where humans of all walks of life can discover their best mindset and bravest, creative selves. So grab a friend, jump in and give it a try.
How many people have you worked with before?
We’ve been doing this a long time, in fact as long as anyone on the planet. We’ve worked with tens of thousands of individuals, groups and organizations to help humans break through fear and hesitation to discover their innate creative brilliance. We’re so honored to have worked with those people as they’ve reconnected with their authentic ingenuity and personal brave. In fact, we’ve never had a student fail.
If I’ve done something similar before or have done some improvisation, can I still join?
Yes! We believe growth and change come via regular practice. One of the main purposes of this program is to get you on your feet on a regular basis within a supportive group of similarly motivated people. Creativity, courage and connection are life-long pursuits and Brave Tuesdays is an inspiring way to keep that commitment to yourself. Whether you’re brand new or have practiced before, you will find benefit in each weekly session.
What can I bring to the event?
Yourself and your open mind. We will have beverages, but if you tend to get hungry for something more substantial feel free to grab a bite prior to the session. We will provide all materials you need during the first session.
What should I wear?
The more comfortable you are, the better – so if that means a suit, wear a suit, if that means jeans wear jeans. We will be moving around and standing for parts of the session, but there will be no rolling on the ground or sun salutations. If you are coming straight from work, you will be just fine.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Lots of options to and from downtown Minneapolis. Street parking, ramp parking and public transit are all available. You can find some suggestions here: https://www.bravenewworkshop.com/directions/
Still not sure? Any other questions?
We’d love to connect! You can contact us through Eventbrite or email email@example.com. You can also always call or text Elena at 612-360-3803.
What’s the refund policy? What if I have to miss a class?
You can receive full refund if you cancel seven days in advance. You can also transfer your registration to a later cohort. If you are going to miss any specific days, you can make those up in the next cohort as well. By the way, we guarantee our program and we think you’ll experience some personal wins if you commit to regular attendance. However, if you’ve given it your best shot and still didn’t find value, we will refund you 100%.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No you don’t. Less printing, less hassle.
Brave Tuesday’s has been a remarkable experience for my personal and professional growth. These classes are imbued with a spirit of curiosity and playfulness. Jenni (and team) is an extraordinary teacher who adroitly and skillfully created the environment of safety and team play. Gleaning from principles of improv theater, I learnt extremely valuable skills to improve communication, foster connections and teamwork. These classes have energized seeming banality of my day to day life and catapulted me in a positive “Yes, and” mindset and without doubt increasing joy in my everyday contact with others. As a physician, I am perpetually amazed at the power of my improv tool-kit, that regularly and profoundly affects my critical conversations. I whole heartedly recommend anyone and everyone looking to energize their connections!Ankit
Brave Tuesdays helped me make friends with fear and uncertainty. Because the course did such a great job of balancing safety and risk, I felt like each week I was able to stretch myself to try new things. I knew that the others in the group would be there to cheer me on!Mary
From a health perspective, I couldn’t do anything better for my brain than challenging it in such a supportive environment.Dianne
