The phrase “Innovation” can be found on virtually every website, training agenda and boardroom whiteboard but recent research shows most companies are not actually being more innovative. Even the best companies with the best intentions fall short of their innovation goals.

We've found that:

• successful innovation occurs when leaders and their teams consistently and boldly exemplify creative behaviors;
• changing behaviors requires information, practice and a supportive environment; and
• individuals who can change their own creative behaviors can become better leaders and thus inspire more creative cultures.

Using these principles, the Brave New Workshop and Promentum formed a partnership and developed a new way to teach innovation. We call this program InnovationU and it is designed to teach leaders how to fundamentally drive innovation in their companies by focusing on behaviors that result in more and better ideas.   

What is InnovationU?

InnovationU is an intensive curriculum that powers leaders to innovate, lead and inspire their organizations through transforming the way they think, interact and respond. The program merges art, science and business with our successful facilitation and behavioral practice techniques, breakthrough research, and humor to optimize creativity. More importantly, it connects innovation leaders working on similar problems at non-competing industries, thus fostering collaboration and the cross-pollination of ideas.
