We want to let you know about an awesome event that Sweeney will be participating in on November 16th. It's called Giant Steps and it’s a day-long interactive event for creative entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial creatives. The interactive conference is followed by a networking happy hour and an after-party, all at the Guthrie. Giant Steps is about creating a creative community and finding new ways of working. The topics will include personal stories and lessons learned from across the creative and entrepreneurial community on topics like resilience, branding, and intelligent growth. There will also be workshops on practical topics including legal considerations, charging what you’re worth, writing an excellent bio, building and leading strong teams, and even the challenges of parenting with a creative career. Last year we heard some amazing stories about the successes--and failures--that our speakers have experienced in an effort to make a life and a living doing what they love.
Sweeney will be taking part as part of the panel discussion on the challenges of parenting with a creative career.
