About John Sweeney and his Keynotes

As a keynote speaker and thought leader John has captured the imagination and loyalty of some of the most respected companies in the world. Not because he owns America’s oldest comedy theatre, The Brave New Workshop; not because a quote from his first book appeared on millions of Starbucks coffee cups; and not because he has delivered more than 1,700 keynotes and training workshops. Rather, John’s success is a result of how deeply and effectively his improvisational speaking and training programs have resonated with a broad spectrum of forward-thinking leaders. Audiences come to understand, appreciate, learn and practice an improv-based mindset (what we call a mindset of discovery) that helps them live and work better.

John is backed by a team of insightful, hands-on, authentic trainers who possess uncommon business insight and unmatched event experience. His long list of loyal and repeat clients include Hilton, Unitedhealth Group, Honeywell, Microsoft, Ingersoll Rand, Target, General Mills, US Bancorp, Medtronic, Thomson Reuters and more than 100 others.

Whether helping companies foster strong communication, achieve greater innovation, improve teamwork and productivity, sell better, embrace change, personalize customer service, or renew workplace enthusiasm, John is undeniable in his ability to spark laughter, provoke thought, and initiate positive growth for individuals and their organizations. Why John’s Keynotes are fun to sell:

·        Proven customer satisfaction. In more than 1,700 engagements John and his team have never received less than 9 out of 10 client satisfaction score.

·        A commitment to partnering with clients long term. 80% of BNW’s clients are repeat customers.

·        Lots of experience. John has inspired many of the best and brightest global companies including General Mills, Hilton Worldwide, Honeywell, Ingersoll Rand, Land O’ Lakes, Medtronic, Microsoft, Target, Thomson Reuters, UnitedHealth Group, US Bancorp and approximately a hundred more: see John’s client list & selected client quotes.

·        Customization. What differentiates John from most facilitators/thought leaders is his commitment to spend as much time as necessary with the client to completely customize the experience for their group. John will consult with the client team in picking the specific behaviors, learning points, and exercises that will help the audience do their job better.

·        Authentic passion and personal investment. John is the owner and leader of a company, whose culture is based on the improvisational behaviors and attitudes he shares with audiences. He lives and breathes the mindset of discovery which is at the core of BNW’s curriculum, and is the first to tell you that it has changed his life and is one of the reasons for where he is today. His motivation for his work, and a driving force in everything he does is his desire to help people lead happier and healthier lives by adopting a mindset of discovery and leaving fear behind.

100% commission, percentages and draw arrangements to be negotiated.
