Brave New Workshop Owners John Sweeney and Jenni Lilledahl Will Perform with David Spade at a Chris Farley Foundation Fundraising Event

Minneapolis, Minn, Nov 21, 2002. --- John Sweeney and Jenni Lilledahl, owners of the Brave New Workshop Comedy Theatre in Minneapolis, will perform December 7, 2002, at the "Comics Come Home" Comedy Show sponsored by Comedy Central and benefiting the Chris Farley Foundation. Sweeney and Lilledahl will be performing with Saturday Night Live's David Spade and Tim Kazurinski, as well as Kevin and John Farley and many more of the nations best improvisers and stand-up comics.

Sweeney, a native of Madison, Wisconsin, now living in Deephaven, Minnesota with his wife Lilledahl, grew up with the Farley brothers and performed with Kevin and John at the Second City Theater in Chicago as part of the famous "Madison Mafia." Founded in January 2001 by the friends and family of comedian Chris Farley who died in 1997, the Chris Farley Foundation uses proceeds from the benefit to grow teen-focused programs that heighten the awareness of substance abuse.

Taking place at the Memorial Union Theatre in Madison, Wisconsin, "Comics Come Home" is one of many fundraising events Sweeney and Lilledahl support throughout the year. In addition to this year's event, both performed last December at the Comedy Gala in Madison and, in June, Sweeney took part in a similar benefit in Chicago to benefit the Chris Farley Foundation.

Tickets to "Comics Come Home" are available by calling 608-262-2201 and range from $40-$100. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. For more information or to make a donation to the Chris Farley Foundation, please visit online at www.chrisfarleyfoundation.com.
