When you join the BNI, you become one of thousands of students, improvisers and actors who have been sharing voices and creative gifts since Dudley Riggs opened the theatre in 1958.

The Brave New Workshop has since become the longest running satirical comedy theatre in the country. We are here to help you discover and explore your own creative ideas through the play of improvisation and the art of acting. True to our name, the BNI is a "Workshop." We promise you an open learning environment--a place where you can discover your gifts, work your craft and find your individual path to spontaneous truth in your performance.
