- Leadership
- Being a leader means knowing when to lead and when to listen
to your staff, or in other words, when to follow. Getting
the most from your fellow improvisers is a trademark of any
great performer. We will train your group of leaders on how
to create an environment where they can maximize the potential
of those they lead.
- Creativity

We all have the capability of being "creative."
OVERVIEW
Why "Improvisation"?
Improvisation is an attitude that allows one person, or a group
of people, to innovate and create instantly by using their own
sense of trust, truth, acceptance and creativity. This "pure
improvisation" can happen only when the group works as
a team and ideas and actions flow freely without judgment. Anyone
can improvise if they allow themselves to play. Improvisation
IS NOT about being the smartest, being the funniest or being
right.
Why
We Improvise
We've used improvisation and its principles to create and stage
more than 500 productions since 1958, making us the longest
running satirical comedy theatre in the U.S., and making us
world renown for our improvisation entertainment. We have taught
improvisation to actors and non-actors of all skills and ages
for nearly 40 years. Currently we have 280 regular students
who are gaining the benefits of improvisation. Working professionals
comprise the majority of our student population.
Your
Application
While improvisation is certainly an excellent tool for creating
entertainment, we have found that the philosophies and principles
of improvisation can make the most dramatic impact in our everyday
lives -- both in our professional and personal lives. Improvisation
is especially ideal for training professionals who work together
in a team or office setting because its core elements lead to
better teamwork, innovation, group trust and clear communication.
Results
The results of this dynamic are increased sales, creativity
and idea generation. Your employees have already achieved a
high level of innovation and success. Our goal is to revisit
their place of innovation and expose them to some of the insights
we have gained as improvisers.
